I have been going here for about 15 years off and on as I moved in and out of the area the people are very friendly. Its a family business.
This restaurant has walls plastered with readers choice awards for years. and I can tell you for a restaurant to survive for 10+ years in a little town like Acton it has to be good
I personally really like the Halibut but my wife gets the Hadock
Anyway I think the readers choice awards speak volumes for the quality.
Very family oriented so I would give them a try
Im not dissapointed when I go and I have tried a lot of fish and chips places in my years. And this one is worth coming back for. my wife loves it and she loves the fries especially when they are crunchy -

This place is so hit and miss. The fish is so heavily battered it's hard to taste. But the fries were day olds. Just disgusting actually. They were totally inedible. SO if you're going to eat here, tell them you want fresh chips and not reheats. Definitely if you're ordering take out, sample the chips before you leave. The price is extortionate. The very least they can do is serve you a decent fried potato. I basically gagged, and then threw them out. They were that dried out. Disappointed.
